Upgrade your rifle with the Hogue Pillar Bed Stock, designed for a drop-in fit for sporterized M98 large ring Mauser and Czech-made Mauser VZ 24. This stock fits virtually all M98 trigger mechanisms, factory or aftermarket, without any modifications required. The barrel channel is engineered to free float most #2-#3 taper barrels, with dimensions measuring 1.180″ at the receiver and .820″ at the tip of the fore-end. The rubber-lined barrel channel can be easily enlarged to accommodate larger barrels or military stepped barrels. Features include relief for bent down or swept back bolt handles, compatibility with straight military bolt handles, and a hidden cutout for sliding style side safety. For added versatility, the floor-plate cutout is designed for shorter FN floor-plates without a lock screw on the front tang, and the inlet can be modified for push-button style hinging box magazine doors.
