The Magpul MOE SL Mid-Length Handguard is designed for AR-15/M4 firearms featuring a mid-length gas system with an A2 front sight. This lightweight handguard is crafted from reinforced, heat-resistant polymer, delivering exceptional durability without the weight of aluminum alternatives. Its sleek design features integrated M-LOK accessory slots at the two, six, and ten o’clock positions, enabling easy attachment of Picatinny rail sections and other M-LOK accessories such as tactical lights and grips. The large front extension and lower lip provide protection from the hot front sight assembly while maximizing usable length. Installation is straightforward, utilizing the existing delta ring and round front handguard retaining cap. Note: This handguard is compatible with most factory plastic, two-piece, mid-length handguards but requires a round front handguard retaining cap and rear spring-loaded delta ring. Not suitable for piston-operated platforms, and must be used with the A2 front sight assembly.
